Hannah Tookey




​Hannah is an independent film, theatre and audio producer, working on projects and campaigns about contemporary social and political issues, with a particular focus on human rights, the environment, mental health and women’s stories. Hannah is a member of BFI Network X BAFTA Crew, a fellow of the RSA and WCMT, a Trustee for Imagine If Theatre Company, on the Youth Development Committee for Mousetrap Theatre Projects, a Project Manager for Young People in the Arts, and a member of Film Strike for Climate.
Theatre credits include: DARE Festival (Upstart Theatre, Shoreditch Town Hall); The War of the Worlds (Rhum and Clay, New Diorama Theatre, Pleasance Edinburgh); Routes (Theatre Témoin, Without Walls and Bedford Creative arts); Change of Art Festival (Amnesty International and Change of Art); Ad Libido (VAULT Festival, Pleasance Edinburgh Fringe); Custody (Ovalhouse, Faith Drama Productions); Angry (Southwark Playhouse, Tramp); and Dry Land (Jermyn Street Theatre, Damsel Productions).


Mark Knightley




Mark is a theatre maker, producer and actor. Notable projects for Crowded Room include:  LA LUCHA. A co-created play turned co-created documentary, made with 9 cleaners from Latin America as they fought for justice and understanding in the face of workplace exploitation.  2030, a live installation that explored young people's hopes and fears around future AI. 
THE HEART OF ADRIAN LOVETT which used forum and immersive theatre techniques to explore the privatisation of the NHS. 
Previously Mark founded Third Man Theatre Company, whose work includes BOTALLACK O'CLOCK which started in a pub in Herne Hill and went on to be performed Off-Broadway. Mark also creates ambitious performances in heritage sites where he has written and directed events for the Tower of London, Hampton Court and Dover Castle. Highlights include: Co-creating TIMEQUAKE, a large-scale immersive experience for families at Hampton Court Palace, which was nominated for the Telegraph Family Friendly MuseumAward. 


Harriet Madeley

​Harriet is a writer, producer and performer for theatre, radio and film. Her debut play The Listening Room opened at the Old Red Lion in 2017 before transferring to Theatre Royal Stratford East; it has since been performed in theatres, prisons and psychiatric institutions across the country. She created a radio adaptation with National Prison Radio that was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and nominated for an ARIA. She has run Crowded Room with Mark Knightley since 2015; her other verbatim work for the company includes The Colours (Soho Theatre) and Echoes (commissioned by Public Health England for the HIV Innovation Fund). Other writing work in development includes The Other Tchaikovsky (BBC Radio 4), Crashland (EKP Productions), Tropical Heat (Greengage) and Alison Wonderland (Sibyl Films)..  Harriet is represented by Sarah Williams at Independent Talent.
